Working On Self

Trying to work on my looks at the moment.
It's kind of heart breaking when a 10 year old girl is much more fashionable than you even though she probably shouldn't be wearing heels and false lashes. But she looked better, not trashy, but pretty hot.
So I have to feel good enough to feel good about myself!
I finally got My Fitness Coach for Wii so I'm going to play 1 hour a day on it!

I also want to get some make up:
Smashbox Photo Op Eye Brightener
Coastal Scents 88 Warm Shades Palette
Sally Hansen Foundation
Eye brow pencil
Sephora Bronzer

And I totally fucked up my eyebrows so I'm super obsessed with trying to make them perfect.
Also I need to get the hell off a computer... its taking over my life.
Ugh...
I'm also thinking if I should go a dark brown like the girl in the main image...

Pictures!

The next three images make me feel like I'm a lez cause the girls are sooooo hot

I wish I could find this... I'm so curious how gyaru porn is

Peaceeeeee. (not me....)

Diet

In my previous post I left off at a vital point in workout and exercise, diet.
Diet doesn't mean that you are on weight watchers, starving yourself, or on some new trend diet OK! magazine says works. Your diet is what you eat DAILY. So you could be on a McDonald's diet or a diet that is for diabetics, you could be a diet to gain weight or lose weight.

The thing about a diet its kind of limiting, sometimes for health reasons and sometimes to lose weight. In the end a diet may help you weight but if you don't change your LIFESTYLE (which is probably said a million times because its true!!) you'll just lose what you worked so hard to gain and who wants that?
This is the lifestyle I am on, for me its about portion control (portion control gives you the ability to eat anything you want, but YOU YOURSELF have to have self control) and metabolism. I was actually inspired by someone's crash diet on Xanga but decided to change it to a more healthy alternative.

Breakfast - Usually 300-400 calories
Most of the time I have a protein drink (I don't eat meat so I LOVE protein drinks!).
or two boiled eggs with toast
or small bowl of cereal
or a grilled cheese sandwich (Wheat bread with no crust and one slice of cheese)

Then 3 HOURS LATER I have a snack, not lunch but three snacks throughout the day.
So for the next three hours I have three snacks and these snacks are usually 150 calories and under,
First Hour: Apple
Second Hour: 100 Calorie Snack pack
Third Hour: A small bowl of steamed carrots

ANOTHER 3 HOURS LATER I have dinner. Dinner usually is around 350-450 calories.
Personally  I have some ginger fried rice or another grilled cheese sandwich.

So it would go like this:
8AM: Breakfast
11AM: Snack
12PM: Snack
1PM: Snack
4PM: Dinner

Since this timing is really early I'll have another snack three hours later so my metabolism doesn't diet out. So at 7PM I'll eat a snack and I'm not usually hungry after that.

I am also a boring eater and usually eat the same things everyday... but if there is a special event I do cheat a little but I do try and control myself. And if I go out to eat I just usually eat 1/4 and drink a lot of tea or water.

AND YES DRINK LOTS OF WATER TO KEEP YOURSELF HYDRATED. Your entire body is made up of mostly water so keep it hydrated!!

So that's my personal diet.
But people are different and have different needs.
If you need to lose fat, you HAVE to burn more calories than you take in. You can tell you have fat if you pinch yourself and 1/4inch is soft and squishy. If its hard then its muscle!

If you are committed to a diet and exercise you are more likely to get the body you want! And commitment is where people go wrong, so keep telling yourself that its what YOU WANT and you will stop at NOTHING to get it!

And please PLEASE PLEASE DON'T STARVE YOURSELF. Believe me diet and exercise is the KEY to unlocking the body you want.

Walking Work-Out

One thing I've learned in Hong Kong (other than excessive shopping) is walking. While the transportation in Hong Kong is fast and everyone takes it, there is still SO much walking to do. There are malls everywhere, right next to each other and in these malls are smaller boutiques that can sell clothes, shoes, watches, cute stuff. So being Hong Kong for one month and being a foreigner I have to walk EVERYWHERE because who knows when I'll be back here. I'm also really lucky because my boyfriend knows all the good spots since he's a native.

While walking in Hong Kong I noticed my body started changing. At first I thought it was the food (which is SO good) but I realized it was walking everywhere. I NEVER felt my body like this ever. It wasn't perfect but my body was improving and getting toned. So I vowed that when I did come back to New York I would walk everywhere I could.

So I did.
I walked to my friends houses, to the train station and then take the train (Manhattan is WAY to far to walk), back home from the train, to the supermarket, practically anywhere I could and was pretty practical. Believe me, sometimes I wanted to give up and just say screw it I'm taking the bus, but I didn't I kept going and that feels REALLY GOOD. The only time I didn't walk was probably when it was FREEZING outside. I don't want to be the future ice woman.
I've been to the gym, starved myself, ran outside, and it has never given the feeling I'm feeling now, which is a toned tight body. Seriously, I remember when my ass started to feel not so toned I felt so disgusted because it was getting flabby and gross. So I worked out and it got more toned and I felt better again. My body isn't exactly where I want it to be but it's getting there (at this point I need more muscles from workouts than walking) and I'm proud of that.

I know America in some places where you need to drive and walking isn't practical. But if you have a dog walk it, park your car farther away, if you can find someone to walk with you, do it! Or it you have a Wii, get Walk it Out or My Fitness Coach (which I heard was really good)!
The whole point is to just be committed and thats where a lot of people have problems. I mean if you really want it, like REALLY REALLY WANT IT. Then you have to work to get it! The more work you put into it, the more you're going to get back.

Diet is extremely important also. But I'll make another post on that :)
