I was able to see Miyavi in concert on June 27th at Irving Plaza!!!

I was so happy because I always loved his music, its always fun, full of life, and meaningful. He has always been someone I admired because of his cockiness, narcissism, and how he never gave up on anything. 

I decided to dress up and make use of my school girl uniform!!!
BEFORE I WENT, OF COURSE I TOOK PURIKURA:

V snuck these pictures, he wasn't suppose to be taking it. They didn't allow cameras or recording unfortunately and if they found out they would kick you out. So yay, GO V!

The Miyavi show was great!!!! Miyavi is an amazing stage performer and his english is so funny. He looks so much like V it scares me and makes me happy at the same time to have my own Miyavi lolololol.

The venue was extremely hot which caused problems for a lot of people...some people got hurt and unfortunately most of the audience was from the visual-kei scene. Its unfortunate because the visual-kei scene in NYC is kind of rough and overwhelming. There were some nice people I was able to see and catch up with though!!

I was so glad!

I also got a Miyavi T-shirt that I will DIY into something more GALl ;)

Thank you!! Actually I was obsessed with modeling and thought I could be a runway model... then I met some real industry models and realized I am not tall OR skinny enough. I still do photo shoots occasionally with friends :)
Japanese look? Like the half look? Yeah I get that all time! Not japanese per say but half asian :).
Actually ANTM's casting director found me and I sent in an application and it didn't work out I guess? Its okay I am terrified of Tyra Banks... she scares me.

Bye Bye Work, Hello Work.

Here is what I wore to work today. I was so hot! But I changed my pants at work for a more conservative look because shorts are unacceptable in my workplace. Its okay though!!! It's my last week there an I will be starting a full-time position elsewhere, YAY! (Still conservative though... -_-)

I don't usually wear lashes to work but I've been itching to wear lashes and when I put them on, I felt complete ♥

I also tried doing my nails the other day.. It didn't work out the way I wanted it too...

Next week I'm going to clean out my wardrobe and clean it up!!!

Fire In The Hole!!!

My wardrobe confuses me sometimes. You know those days where you just feel like there is nothing to wear? Today was that today for me. I tried to make it work by wearing something I never wear.

Not exactly the most GAL of outfits but its one of those days y'know? Changing your outfits and hating your closet and yourself for not buying better stuff.

Sorry if I rarely post outfits with shoes... I live in an asian household where we leave our shoes outside.

Sometimes I try and sneak it in though ;)

Oh and for those designer junkies out there, no its not an authentic Balenciaga, its a really good knockoff inspired version I got in HK.

I love that I have a hood, it makes doing my hair much easier.

I love my Mow Mow so much! He's so cute and likes to run under rugs!!!

Seifuku Day

Today I was suppose to go to Japan Day in Central Park with my nagosa, M&M. However plans fell through because people couldn't show, the weather was SO iffy and I was sick so I didn't want to go too far from my house.
I was doing my makeup as plans were falling through so I still wanted to go out and here was my makeup:

 

I am wearing double lashes!

Wearing: Missha BB Boomer, Skin79 Water Pearl BB Cream, Jane No Show Concealer, ELF HD Powder, Canmake Blush in PW20, ELF Eyebrow Mascara, NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, Wet N' Wild Pride Pallette (only the white shadow), MAC Electric Eel, MAC Aquadisiac, Decorative Eyelash (Hana's Giveaway ♥) on top, MAC #7 eyelashes on the bottom, ELF Mineral Lipstick in Runway Pink, Revlon Mineral Lip Glaze in Perennial Pink.

I actually think my makeup is kind of scary... I wish I switched the lashes (MAC #7 on top, the others on the bottom) but I'm still really happy I was able to put on bottom lashes in general! ♥

I also think double lashes look better with circle lenses because it makes the eyes so big my normal eyes just look too small for my eye sockets.

I also curled my hair because sometimes I'm just sick of it being so straight and boring!

Erin and Carol were still available so Erin met up with me first! We took pictures and helped do each others makeup :)

It was so windy today and our skirts were pretty short so at some points (like getting on the bus) some people would get a free show. Other than that the attention we got when we walked around was SO fun!!! I

We walked around Flushing and I bought those popular rubber bands that turn into cool shapes (like animals). I got FAST FOOD SHAPES!!!

And of course Erin and I took purikura while waiting for Karou:

After we met up with Karou we took MORE purikura, YAY!!!!

Erin and I saw an extremely hot korean guy waiting for the bus today. The first bus got too packed so we had to wait for the second bus and I think that same korean guy waited behind us because he was interested in us. I said a couple of words to him and I think he got really nervous.

As Erin and I left got off the bus we said bye to him.

I'm a little bit sad because I would love to keep in contact.
